The Waste Management initiative under Murbad Panchayat Samiti aims to maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and environmental balance across all villages. This system focuses on the collection, segregation, and proper disposal of household and public waste to ensure a clean and healthy rural environment.
Objectives (उद्दिष्टे)
The main objective of the waste management system is to create a sustainable and pollution-free environment. It promotes public awareness, encourages waste segregation at the source, and supports eco-friendly waste recycling practices.
Awareness (जनजागृती)
Citizens are encouraged to use dustbins, avoid littering, and cooperate with the Gram Panchayat workers. Regular cleanliness drives and awareness campaigns are organized to make every village “Clean and Green.”
Waste is collected daily, separated into wet and dry categories, and sent for composting or recycling to reduce landfill pollution.
Citizens, schools, and self-help groups actively participate in cleanliness campaigns and awareness programs.
